We took a final trip to CA for our current migration study. For this trip, we collected migrants in Davis and non-migrants in the Marine Headlands again to determine the extent to which variation in mitochondrial function between migrants and non-migrants is due to mitochondrial plasticity. This team is a well-oiled machine! I enjoyed spending the holidays with my team and even finished early, allowing for a few relaxing days before the start of the semester.
